Bid Rejected for Liverpool’s Ben Doak
According to *The Daily Mail*, Palace have also set their sights on Liverpool winger Ben Doak, who has impressed on loan at Middlesbrough. The Eagles submitted a £15 million bid, but Liverpool rejected it, holding out for closer to £25 million. The Reds are basing their valuation on recent Championship-to-Premier League transfers like Wilson Odobert and Crysencio Summerville.
Despite the rejection, Palace remain optimistic and could return with an improved offer for the Scotland international. Doak’s explosive pace, power, and skill have drawn praise from teammates like John McGinn, who believes the young winger can excite fans and bring a fresh dynamic to any team.
With a packed Premier League schedule ahead, including matches against Leicester, West Ham, and Manchester United, Crystal Palace appear determined to secure reinforcements to push for a strong finish to the season.
