Ipswich Town manager Kieran McKenna has praised Fulham for their steady rise in the Premier League, admiring their strong performances on the pitch and astute decision-making off it.
Since earning promotion in 2022, Marco Silva’s side has firmly established themselves in the top flight, achieving 10th, 13th, and ninth-place finishes. Currently sitting in ninth and unbeaten in their last seven games, Fulham’s recent run includes notable results like a 2-1 victory over Chelsea and draws with Liverpool and Arsenal.
McKenna recognizes the tough challenge awaiting Ipswich at Craven Cottage. A win would lift his team out of the relegation zone, but he’s well aware of the quality Fulham brings. Confirming that Christian Walton will start in goal, McKenna highlighted the foundation Silva has built.
“They’ve done many things well,” McKenna said. “They built a strong squad from their Championship days and maintained a core group that has adapted to the Premier League. That stability gives them a real advantage.”
As Ipswich prepare to face an in-form Fulham, McKenna is bracing his players for what promises to be a stern test.
