In recent weeks, Roberto De Zerbi has been associated with both Chelsea and Liverpool.
In light of his developing connections to Chelsea and Liverpool, Brighton manager Roberto De Zerbi has disclosed that he intends to talk with the team about his future. The Italian has emerged in recent years as one of Europe’s best up-and-coming head coaches, which has sparked a lot of talk about a possible transfer to a bigger team.
Recently, De Zerbi has been connected to the Liverpool position, which will open up in the summer upon Jurgen Klopp’s departure from his current position at Anfield. In the unlikely event that Mauricio Pochettino is fired soon, the Brighton manager has also been linked to Chelsea.
De Zerbi stated in a Sky Sports interview that while he is still content at Brighton, he is open to working for “a big, big team” in the future.
“We feel we can write another part of Brighton’s history,” he stated. Everyone is aware of their role, and we are doing all in our power to satisfy both the club’s employees and its supporters. We’ll do our best, we promise.
